She has finally filed notice of appeal of Johnny Depp’s 10.35 million dollars awarded to him during the defamation trial and it looks like Elon Musk might have something to do with it. On July 21st 2022, Amber heard filed a notice of appeal on the grounds that she believes that the court made a mistake by making Johnny Depp the winner.
A spokesperson for Amber revealed while filling the re-appeal, “We believe the court made errors that prevented a just and fair verdict consistent with the First Amendment. We are therefore appealing the verdict. While we realize today’s filing will ignite the Twitter bonfires, there are steps we need to take to ensure both fairness and justice.”
